We the People Are Bigger Than Any City

In life, there comes a moment when you realize something important: people don’t always come for the place—they come for the person.

Depending on who you are and what you stand for, your presence alone can make a city relevant. People will travel, show up, and invest their time not because of a skyline or a city seal, but because of leadership, purpose, and conviction.

I am a United States presidential candidate from San Antonio, Texas. People will come to San Antonio because of me—but it is important to understand this clearly: my city is not me. My mission, my voice, and my future are not confined to one location. I can live in any city in this beautiful country. My purpose moves where the people move.

At this moment, the San Antonio city government is not supportive of me. And that reality does not surprise me. History has shown, time and time again, that early belief is rare. Institutional support often comes only after momentum becomes undeniable—after millions of people across the United States are saying your name, sharing your message, and recognizing your leadership.

That is usually when the tone changes.

Suddenly, there are invitations.

Suddenly, there are ceremonies.

Suddenly, there are keys to the city and photo opportunities.

But symbolic gestures do not replace real belief.

This is a message not only to San Antonio, but to commissioners, mayors, and leaders in every city and every state across this country: if you want to build a genuine relationship with me, do it now—not later, when national media is speaking my name and alignment becomes convenient.

I value authenticity over access.

Conviction over convenience.

Real support over performative politics.

When CNN is saying my name, when the nation is watching, there will be little room left for relationships built on optics instead of principle. What lasts is what was formed before the spotlight arrived.

We the people are bigger than any city, any government office, and any title. Cities rise and fall, but leadership rooted in purpose endures. And history always remembers who stood early—and who waited until it was safe.
